PES is happy to announce the graduation of two of our team members. Bob Weber and Hank George, both from our CNC shop have completed their required school work and can now be called “graduates”.
Bob attended the Pittsburgh chapter of the National Tooling & Machining Association (NTMA) machining program. Bob completed the four-year program in three years and will now be receiving his journeyman machinist certification. As a 14-year veteran at PES, as CNC machinist, he has continued to be heavily involved in the success and growth of the company. When describing the accomplishment Bob said, “I am excited to take the knowledge I gained through the program and help others here at PES.” He continued, “Personally, finishing the program will hopefully continue to advance my opportunities at PES.”
Hank celebrated receiving his Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Penn State University at the beginning of May, through their World Campus. Hank, also one of our CNC machinists, has been with the company for three years. In addition to completing his Associate’s, he is also enrolled in the same NTMA machining program that Bob just completed. Hank is in year one of the program as he continues to expand his knowledge and understanding of both the machining and business worlds. “I am happy to be done with that part of my schooling and excited to see what the future may hold for me.”
We at PES are proud of both Bob and Hank’s accomplishments and continue follow two of our core values of empowering team members and raising the bar and achieving excellence in everything that we do. Great job, gentlemen!
